Zero Poverty: A Possible Dream? - ABDELMOUNIM from Chad 🇹🇩

In this episode of the podcast, we discuss the goal of zero poverty and whether it is actually possible to achieve. We talk to experts about the challenges and opportunities involved in ending poverty, and we explore some of the different ways that we can work towards this goal.

We begin by talking about the progress that has been made in reducing poverty over time. The number of people living in extreme poverty has been cut in half since 1990, and the world is on track to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goal of halving extreme poverty by 2030.

However, there are still millions of people living in poverty, and the gap between rich and poor is widening.

We then discuss the challenges involved in achieving zero poverty. One challenge is that poverty is a complex issue with many causes. It is not just a matter of income, but also of access to education, healthcare, and other essential services. Another challenge is that poverty is often cyclical, meaning that it can be difficult to break out of the cycle of poverty once you are in it.

Despite the challenges, there are also opportunities to achieve zero poverty. One opportunity is to invest in education and healthcare. This can help to break the cycle of poverty and give people the skills and knowledge they need to lift themselves out of poverty. Another opportunity is to promote economic growth that is inclusive and benefits everyone, not just the wealthy few.

We conclude by discussing the role that we can all play in achieving zero poverty. We can donate to charities that are working to fight poverty, we can volunteer our time to help those in need, and we can advocate for policies that will help to reduce poverty.

Together, we can make a difference and help to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to live a prosperous life.

We hope you enjoyed this episode of the podcast. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to reach out to us. And remember, together we can make a difference.
